Costs, Deadlines, Scholarships and Credit Received for the Institute
Financial Aid and Scholarships Available
The Institute has limited scholarship money funded primarily by intermittent donations. When money is available, scholarships are awarded based solely on need. To receive a scholarship application, please contact the Office of Admissions at (719)548-4560 or email us at admissions@fotf.org.
We believe God not only ordains the process of selecting students, He is the financial source of those who attend the Institute. As God may ultimately provide the financial means to attend, a student should never let finances be the sole reason for not applying.
Because the Institute is not an independently accredited program, federally-funded grants and loans may not be accessible to the student unless you are attending the Institute from a participating college or university that has an agreement with Focus on the Family Institute. Click here to find out if your school is participating in this engagement with Focus on the Family.

Academic Credit Received
The Institute provides 15 hours of recommended academic credit during the fall/spring semesters (eight in the summer). Students may receive credit from their home institution dependant upon their school’s policies regarding transfer credits. For schools that do not permit direct transfer credit, Institute students may be able to transfer credit by registering to attend the Institute through Colorado Christian University -- a fully accredited private Christian college.
