Procedures
To receive an application for admission you may download an application from this site, call our Office of Admissions at (719) 548-4560 or e-mail admissions@fotf.org. The packet will include a brochure containing an application, two reference forms and a Liaison Form.
The following items need to be returned to the Institute by the application deadline:

A completed application (remember to sign all signature portions)

| 2. |
Two complete reference forms and accompany letters (traditionally the letters are faxed or mailed separately)

| 3. |
Three essays (Please limit to 500 words each)
|
| 4. |
Application fee of $30.00 (make check out to "Focus on the Family Institute")
|
| 5. |
Current official college transcripts from all colleges attended (a faxed, unofficial copy may be used prior to receiving the official transcript)
|
| 6. |
The signed Liaison Form (if your college is listed on the "Liaison Form)

Applicants should make photocopies of the application, essays and application fee check for thier own records.
Academic Credit
While the Focus on the Family Institute provides a total of 15 hours of recommended academic credit in the fall and spring semesters (and 8 hours in the summer semester), it is not an independently accredited program. Students may receive credit from their home institution dependent upon their school's policies concerning the Institute credit transfer. For schools that do not permit credit transfer directly from the Institute, students may be able to transfer credit by registering through Colorado Christian University Ñ an accredited program in the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
