Get Your Fill of the Great Colorado Outdoors
After some serious classroom academics, you’re sure to be ready for some serious outdoor fun! We're prepared to offer you your fill of the great outdoors at the Institute.
A semester here combines intense spiritual growth with the rush of the outdoors. Opportunities include day trips into the Rocky Mountains, hiking, skiing, climbing, snowboarding, white-water rafting and cycling.
Here’s some of what you can expect when you spend a semester with us:
| • |
Colorado Springs: The Pikes Peak Region is a hiker’s paradise. Remote alpine trails, sandstone towers in the world-famous Garden of the Gods and the granite pinnacles in North Cheyenne Canyon are just waiting to be explored. |
| • |
Winter Activities: Snowfall arrives early and stays late in our high country. Enjoy Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Vail and Winter Park Resorts -- where you can experience skiing, snowboarding, snow-mobiling and other bone-chilling pastimes! |
| • |
Summer Activities: Colorado is a great place to spend the hot summer months. White-water rafting, hiking, camping, trips to Rocky Mountain National Forest are just a few of the opportunities available to you as an Institute student. |
